LEADERSHIP COACHING
Developing leaders
The purpose of leadership coaching is to provide leaders with an opportunity to think systemically about roles, role-relations and group dynamics and to build organisational capacity to achieve both short-term and long-term goals.
As a coach, Nuala draws on her deep understanding of leadership, authority and organisation dynamics. She has coached leaders in diverse roles and organisations, from entrepreneurs in the not-for-profit space, to middle managers in corporate and government organisations, to senior academics in tertiary education, both in Australia and around the globe.
Nuala is a registered Analytic-Network coach and has certification in the Leadership Circle Profile and Collective Leadership Assessment.
PROFESSIONAL SUPERVISION
Developing practitioners
Professional supervision is an enabling process that offers practitioners the opportunity to reflect on their work and to develop their knowledge and skills in organisation dynamics. Supervision promotes self-awareness, professional development and growth within the context of the practitioner's professional environment.
Nuala provides supervision to managers and consultants who seek to deepen their understanding of organisation dynamics, in the context of their work.

REFLECTIVE PRACTICE
Developing reflective capacity
Reflective practice is a form of group inquiry which enables participants to reflect on the experience of their organisational roles, and to engage in a process of continuous learning.
The process enables participants to become aware of taken-for-granted beliefs and unseen forces that shape and influence the experience of work, enabling them to anticipate future action.
To this work, Nuala brings a deep knowledge of experiential learning and organisation dynamics.
ORGANISATIONAL CHANGE
Developing healthy workplaces
Organisational problems and issues often persist despite cultural audits and change management programs. Dr Nuala Dent brings a deep knowledge of group dynamics and an action learning approach to support clients to:
Develop awareness of patterns of behaviour
Question norms and challenge assumptions
Surface the unspoken aspects of work
Identify actions and approaches for sustained change
Reflect on experience and refine approach
This approach is designed to surface the unspoken and largely unconscious issues that influence how people take up roles, perceive what is happening and make decisions. With a deeper understanding of the workplace experience, clients are better able to consider organisational structures, processes and resources and create opportunities for sustained change.
